Marc Blum graduated with a bachelor of Computer Systems Engineering from
the University of Queensland in 1994. In 1995 he was employed as a
research assistant for the University of Queensland department of
Medicine where he developed software to aid in the analysis of asthma
data. Since late 1995 he has been employed by the Prentice Center at the 
University of Queensland as a systems engineer. Since joining the Prentice 
Center he has worked on aspects of their dial-up access service including
developing software to handle access and congestion management.
