After 25 plus years in the industry, mostly in the IT Bermuda triangle
of Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, Tom Cook now runs a sales and  support
consultancy from Cairns. He ventured into the IT industry as an Electronics
Engineer in the early 70's and stayed. Initially in sales and support with
Interdata and Tektronix products progressing through to Applications
Engineer with DEC, Regional Management with Computervision, Country Manager
with DBMS Software Inc., etc. Currently, his particular areas of interest
are in Document Managment and Database access over wide area networks.
