Allan Young Director Computer Services & IT Swinburne University of Technology Graduated from RMIT with a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering in 1985. Obtained master of Engineering, by research, from RMIT in 1988 while working as part of Joint CSIRO/RMIT parallel Computing Research Group. Specialised in high performance switched networks for connecting multi-processor arrays. From 1989 to 1992 managed Local Area Network Development project at RMIT - $3 million network upgrade. In 1992 appointed manager of network development at Swinburne University of Technology. In 1993 appointed Director Computer Services & IT at Swinburne - overall responsibility of Computing and Network Services. Currently managing Swinburne's ATM upgrade strategy and also the Chairman of the Victorian Regional Network Technical Group - the group is responsible for the design and implementation of the ATM-based Victorian Regional Network.
