Max Burnet will trace the development of the Australian Computer
industry in his usual tongue in cheek style.  He will focus on recent
research findings, including new details of Australian made
totalisators in the 1920's, a report on the recent 40th anniversary
CSIRAC conference, and the recent emergence of an historical awareness
amongst Australian computing professionals.
